Certified Air Conditioning Unit Maintenance in the Gulf Coast communities from Longboat Key to Tampa Bay

At Total Air Solutions, we often discuss maintenance tips with our clients such as spraying down the outdoor AC condenser with water. While some people think this is a little crazy at first, it all makes sense when you consider the benefits of doing this. One of the most important things is making sure your condenser unit is free of debris. By spraying it down regularly at least once per month, all of that debris and clogs can be removed for improved airflow in your cooling system.

When you’re spraying your unit, you should be careful to spray evenly and try not to bend any of the fin coils in your cooling unit. If you do end up bending any of the fin coils, it’s not the end of the world. With an inexpensive fin-coil comb, you can easily straighten all the fin coils back up. Spraying down your unit also helps to cool it down some when it’s too overheated, a great way to improve your cooling efficiency at your home.
